cose da fare prima del matrimonio
PER LA PARROCCHIA DI RESIDENZA
- I coniugi devono istruire la pratica con il Parroco di residenza di uno dei due, come se si sposassero nel loro paese d’origine
- La documentazione una volta completata, dovrà essere presentata alla Curia competente del Paese di origine che provvederà a produrre il Nulla Osta alla Celebrazione in Italia e spedirla alla Diocesi di Firenze
- Nel Nulla Osta dovrà essere specificata la Parrocchia presso la quale verranno celebrate le nozze e la data
PER GLI SPOSI
- Devono allegare alla Pratica di cui sopra i seguenti documenti:
- lettera in cui vengono spiegate le motivazioni che li hanno condotti a sposarsi in Italia
- copia del loro passaporto
- Certificato di matrimonio civile (è preferibile che siano già sposati civilmente) oppure la documentazione necessaria per la richiesta delle pubblicazioni civili
- Dati dei testimoni (minimo 2, massimo 4) con nome, cognome, data e luogo di nascita, residenza e professione

Things to do before the wedding
FOR THE CHURCH OF RESIDENCE
- The couple must start the documents with the Priest belonging to the church of one of the two, as if they were marrying in their own country.
- If the wedding in Italy is of Concordat, which means valid also to the civil effect, the unmarried must request the civil publication also at the Consulate or at the Italian Embassy abroad, where will be released a certificate of publication, to be presented to the Priest of the Church where the agreed marriage will be celebrated.
- The documents, once completed, should be presented by the Parish Priest to the competent Holy See (Curia) of their own country, who will produce a Nulla-Osta for the celebration in Italy and send it to the Diocese of Florence.
- In the Nulla-Osta should be specified the Church wherein the wedding will be celebrated and the date.
FOR THE COUPLE
The following documents should be attached to the request:
- a letter wherein are explained the reasons why the couple have decided to marry in Italy
- copy of their passports
- civil wedding certificate ( it is preferable that the couple be already married in a civil way) or that they have the necessary documents for a civil publication.
- data of their witnesses( minimum2, maximum 4) with name, surname, date and place of birth, residence and profession.
